Ralf Rangnick keen for Man Utd to sign Timo Werner
Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is keen for the club to make a summer move for misfiring Chelsea forward Timo Werner. The Red Devils boss has history with Werner, having signed him from Stuttgart during his time at RB Leipzig. Although Rangnick was sporting director for the majority of the pair's time at the club, he did coach the Germany international during the 2018/19 season. In that campaign Werner was in fine form, registering 19 goals and 13 assists in 38 appearances. The following season he was even better, netting 28 times in the Bundesliga alone and earning himself a move to Chelsea in the process. However, since arriving at Stamford Bridge, his form has been shaky. Offside goals and poor misses have dominated his time in the capital with Werner managing 15 goals in 64 games so far.
